City of Whittlesea Grants

Welcome to the City of Whittlesea SmartyGrants webpage. This is where you can apply for grants offered by Council. 

To apply for a grant you need to register or log in using the link above. 

After registering you will be able to:

• Apply for open grant rounds
• Submit acquittal/progress reports (acquittal forms are linked to successful grant applications)
• Submit project variation requests. E-mail community.grants@whittlesea.vic.gov.au to link the project variation form to your application. You can then submit the form in the same way you submitted your grant application.

Grants are open all year round so you can apply at any time but will be considered on a monthly or quarterly basis.

Monthly

Individual Grants and Small Grants will be considered from the 14th of each month.  

Quarterly

Medium Grants, Large Grants and Unincorporated Group Grants will be considered in the following quarters;

• • Q1 - 1 January to 31 March
  • Q2 - 1 April to 30 June
  • Q3 - 1 July to 30 September
  • Q4 - 1 October to 31 December

On needs basis

Emergency Grants will be considered as they are received.
